Air Liquide (Band)

Air Liquide was a German Techno formation consisting of Ingmar Koch ( " Dr. Walker " ) and Cem Oral ( " Jammin 'Unit ", later founder of the Ultra High project), which was established in 1991. Koch and Oral published more plates under the pseudonyms Madonna 303 ​​and Jammin 'Unit & Walker.

History

Oral and Koch met in 1991 in a recording studio in Frankfurt am Main. After a number of jam sessions in Koch Studio was released in 1992 with New Frankfurt electronics school's first EP of the duo at the Cologne record label Blue, the chef and Oral had founded together with the musician Jörg Burger. Also with Burger and Wolfgang Voigt had Oral and cooking Founded in 1991, the Acid Techno label Structure.

Lyrics and vocals for some songs contributed Koch's former girlfriend Mary Susan Applegate.

Air Liquide was the mid-1990s known especially for their live acts. The band broke up in 2005 after the previous year 's last album Let Your Ears Be the Receiver had appeared.
