Air Rarotonga is an airline of the Cook Islands based on the main island of Rarotonga. Basis of the airline is the Rarotonga airport.
The airline was founded in February 1978 and took in July of the same year with a Cessna 337 flight operations on. Air Rarotonga is owned by three private investors. The airline transported about 70,000 passengers annually.
Air Rarotonga flies to destinations exclusively within the Cook Islands. Here, lines and charter services both passengers and freight are transported. In conjunction with Air Tahiti flights between Rarotonga and Papeete also be operated. Furthermore, be offered as a charter Island scenic flights and connections to the next island states (for example, Tahiti, Niue, Tonga and Samoa).
