Air Sylhet

Air Sylhet called the British airline Air Sylhet PLC and its Austrian subsidiary Air Sylhet AG. The name is derived from the region of Sylhet, comes from the part of the founders. The company still has a valid operating license, but there is no more air traffic instead.

Route network

Base of Air Sylhet is the Vienna International Airport, which is suitable as a hub for flights between Europe, the Middle East and Asia, according to Air Sylhet.

Air Sylhet planned from December 2008 flights to London Stansted, Manchester and Dubai. In April 2009, a compound of Birmingham via Vienna to Amritsar in India was recorded. However, there were irregularities in the new connection and the line was discontinued.

Fleet

Air Sylhet initially established a leased SmartLynx of Airbus A320-200 with 180 seats. For the route Birmingham - Vienna - Amritsar a leased from Gadair Boeing 757-200 was briefly used.
