Aisha Hinds

Aisha Hinds ( born November 13, 1975 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actress.

Life and career

Aisha Hinds was born in November 1975 in the New York City borough Brooklyn and grew up there. First she attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Visual and Performing Arts and graduated after her studies at the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from. During her time at university she entered the musicals Anything Goes as Reno Sweeney and in Mame as Agnes Gooch. After she graduated at The American Theatre of Harlem postgraduate studies and was there among other things in the plays Fences and night to see mother.

In another supporting role, she appeared from 2009 to 2010 as Isabel Walsh in Hawthorne. 2010 was followed by the role of Detective Collero in 72 hours - The Next Three Days and a three-part guest role in the Showtime series Weeds - Kleine Deals among neighbors. In the ABC crime series Detroit 1-8-7 portrayed Maureen Mason, a mother of two and a lieutenant in the homicide of Detroit. The series was canceled after one season and 18 episodes. Subsequently, she was in the TV movie Five and as a guest star in CSI 2011: to see Miami. As of spring 2012, it stood for the Mystery Cult series as Detective Rosalind Sakelik front of the camera.
