Aitor Galdós

Aitor Galdos Alonso ( born November 9, 1979 in Ermua ) is a Spanish cyclist.

Career

In 2003, he turned professional with the Spanish team Labarca -2 cafes Baqué and could win a stage of the Circuito Montanes.

After only one year, he joined the Japanese Team Nippo. With three victories was his second year as a professional and be successful.

In 2005 he returned to Europe and signed a contract with the Italian team Ceramiche Panaria - Navigare, for which he could ever win a stage of the Tour de la Région Wallonne and the Tour of Denmark 2006.

In the years 2007 - 2010 Aitor Galdós went for the Basque team Euskaltel -Euskadi. His best results in this period were a second place at the first stage of the Tour of Poland in 2010 and third places at the Gran Premio de Llodio 2008, on the second stage of the Tour de Luxembourg in 2009 and on the second stage of the Tour of Catalonia 2010.

In 2011 he joined the Spanish team Caja Rural, for which he drove until 2012. In addition to a third Paltz on the fourth stage of the Tour of Andalusia 2011, he was able to repeatedly go to the Tour of Catalonia in 2011 in the top five. In 2012 he won the sprint of the Tour of Burgos for themselves.
