Ajay Bhatt

Ajay Bhatt ( born 1952 ) is an Indian- American computer scientist.

Life

Bhatt studied at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara and then at the City University of New York computer science and is employed by the U.S. company Intel. Bhatt was instrumental in the development of the Accelerated Graphics Port, PCI Express and Universal Serial Bus (USB).

In 2013 he was awarded the European Inventor Award in the category " non-European invention " for the development of the Universal Serial Bus. Bhatt lives in Oregon.
