Akalla metro station

Akalla is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the homonymous district Akalla. The station is served by the Blå linjen the Stockholm subway system. It belongs to the rather moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day 5,000 commuters to climb here.

The station was taken on June 5, 1977, in operation, when the metro section Hallonbergen - Akalla was inaugurated. The station has two underground tracks, which are about 20 m below the ground. The station is the terminus of the line T11 linjen Blå. Stockholm Central Station, there are about fourteen kilometers.
