Akçay, Edremit

Akçay is a district of about 8 km away in small town in the Turkish province of Balıkesir Edremit. It lies on the Gulf of Edremit, also known as the Olive Riviera known, and is adjacent to the E 87 motorway.

The village is dominated by the domestic tourism, which was funded in Turkey since the 1950s through appropriate programs. Akçay has several hot springs. The site is dominated by summer residences.
