Akira Toriyama
Akira Toriyama (Japanese鸟 山 明, Toriyama Akira, born April 5, 1955 in Kiyosu in Aichi Prefecture ) is a Japanese manga artist.
Life
Born in Aichi Prefecture on Honshu, Japan's largest island, was Akira Toriyama as a child avid comic and Zeichentrickfan. With Walt Disney's 101 Dalmatians was the initial spark, even to take the pen in hand and bring the first own drawings on paper.
Toriyama completed his studies in 1974 at the prefectural trade school in the Department of Design and began in the same year until 1977 as a designer for a design company in advertising to work.
