Akoupé

Akoupé is a city in south-eastern Ivory Coast and is located in the region Agnéby, at a distance of about 142 km from Abidjan. It is regarded as the place of origin of the Ivorian Coupe Decale dance style, which further developed into a very popular and widely used music and dance form later.
