Akron Art Museum

The Akron Art Museum is an art museum opened in 1922 in Akron, Ohio.

Since 1970 the museum of modern art focused after 1850. Owned by the museum are 3000 permanent objects. Every year, it has 50,000 visitors.

The museum building was rebuilt by Coop Himmelb (l) au for 20 million U.S. dollars and was reopened July 7 to 17, 2007. 2005 Coop Himmelb (l) au was awarded the American Architecture Award for the design.
