Aksai Black Pied (pig)

The Aksaier stained pig ( Russian: Aкcaйcкaя чepнo - пecтpaя, Aksaiskaja Chernobyl pestraja ) is a breed of pig from Kazakhstan.

Breeding history

The breed was developed in Aksai, Almaty crossing of indigenous sows with boars of the breeds Large White, Berkshire pig and Estonian bacon pig.

Characteristics

  • Conformation harmoniously
  • Weight 245 kg sows, boars 317 kg

There are three sire lines and 6 sows families. The breed is often used for crossbreeding with breeds North Caucasus Pig, Large White and German Landrace.

Occurrence

Main breeding centers are Kaskelenski and Aksai, Almaty in Kazakhstan. The total number was 1980 5.000 purebred animals.
