Akshaye Khanna

Akshaye Khanna ( Hindi, अक्षय खन्ना, Aksay Khanna, Akshay Khanna, born March 30 or April 4, 1975 in Mumbai, Maharashtra ) is an Indian film actor. He is a son of actor Vinod Khanna; his brother Rahul Khanna is also an actor.

Career

Akshaye Khanna was trained at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute. He had his first appearance in 1997, at age 22, in Himalaya Putra, a production his father. For his role in the film Border published in the same year he was awarded the Filmfare Awards for best debut. Then he got more roles, including the films Taal, Aa Ab According Chalen and the thriller Humraaz. He also played in comedies, so Hungama and Hulchul - A crazy love story.

Later, he again participated in more serious productions, as emerged in 2007 Naqaab and Gandhi, My Father. Followed in 2008 and 2009 Race Short Cut.
