Aktan Abdykalykov

Aktan Abdikalikow aka Aktan Arym Kubat ( Kyrgyz Актан Абдыкалыков ( Актан Арым Кубат ), born March 26, 1957 in Koumtouou ) is a Kyrgyz director.

Abdikalikow ended 1980, the Kyrgyz State Art College with a degree, then worked as a set designer and artistic designer in a national film studio, before he was artistically active as a director of a documentary for the first time in 1990. It was followed by four short films, some of which were awarded at film festivals before he made ​​his first feature film " Beshkempir - Changeling " 1998 ( Beshkempir ) realized.
