Al-Adil Kitbugha

Al- Adil Zin al-Din Kitbugha (Arabic العادل زين الدين كتبغا, DMG al - ʿ Adil Zin ad - Dīn Kitbuġā ) was Sultan of the Mamluks 1294-1296.

After the assassination of Khalil Sultan (r. 1290-1293 ) was elected to the nine year-old brother al -Malik al-Nasir Muhammad Sultan. In the regency of Mamlukenemire Kitbugha soon gained the decisive influence and pursued those responsible for the murder of Khalil conspirators.
