al Ahed

Ahed al (Arabic العهد, DMG al - ʿ ahd ) is a football club based in Beirut, Lebanon. The club plays in the top league in the country, the Lebanese Premier League. Play their home games in the club from Beirut Municipal Stadium. Established in 1966, the club in 2008 succeeded in winning a championship. It was also the biggest hit of the club. By winning the championship of 2007/2008 Ahed al -qualified automatically for the AFC Cup. After four games of the group stage, the club has a very good chance of reaching the next round. In the 2008 /09 season the club played again with above. However, at the end of the association was only the runner-up.
