Al-Arabi SC (Kuwait)

Al -Arabi (Arabic النادي العربي الرياضي, DMG to - Nadi al - ʿ Arabī al- Riyadi ) is a Kuwaiti sports club, which plays in the Kuwaiti Premier League. The footballers of al -Arabi previously represented most frequently Kuwait in Asian competitions. The home games are played in the stadium Sabah -as- Salam. Founded in 1960, the football section is the most successful in the country with 16 championships. The national cup could also be won 15 times and is a national record represents the 2008/09 season the club finished in fifth place in the league. Due to the Cup victory in 2008, the club takes part in the AFC Cup. After four games of the group stage, the club has a good chance to reach the next round.
