Al-Fotuwa SC

The al - Futowa SC is a sports club from Deir ez- Zor in Syria. The men's football team currently playing in the top league in the country, the Syrian professional league. Play their home games in the club from Al Baladi stadium. The 2-time champion football was founded in 1950. Besides the two championships, the club also won four consecutive Syrian Cup. In 2008, the team finished the season in 6th place in the league.

Before a game the team in Qamishli on 12 March 2004 there were clashes of fans of both teams that were the catalyst for the riots in Qamishli in 2004.
