Al Hall (athlete)

Albert Hall ( Albert William " Al " Hall, born August 2, 1934 in Manchester, Massachusetts, † October 9, 2008 in Tonopah, Nevada) was an American hammer thrower.

Three times he won at the Pan American Games Gold: 1959 in Chicago, 1963 in São Paulo and in 1971 in Cali.

His best finish at the Olympic Games was a fourth place in 1956 in Melbourne. In Rome in 1960 he came to 14th, 1964 in Tokyo, he was twelfth, and 1968 in Mexico City, he retired in the qualifier.

1962 and 1963 he was U.S. champion.
