Al Iraqiya

Al- Iraqia (Arabic العراقية, English: Al Iraqiya written ) is an Iraqi television station, which was founded in May 2003 after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein. He is the successor of the Iraqi state television channels.

The Arabic-language television station operated by the Iraqi government. The transmitter can be received by about 85 % of Iraqi households and achieved a market share of about 40%. However, the proportion of the population with satellite channels preferred the international television channel Al -Jazeera and Al - Arabiya.
