Al Lulu Island

Al - Lu'lu ' (Arabic al - Jazeera جزيرة اللؤلؤ Lu'lu ', DMG Ǧazīra al -Lu ʾ lu ʾ, Pearl Island ', English Lulu Iceland ) is a five-kilometer long artificial island 600 meters off the coast of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The six -square-mile island lies northeast of the city opposite the Corniche and was filled in by the year 1992 as a breakwater to protect the main island of Abu Dhabi from storm surges.
Al- Lu'lu ' has no bridge connection to the mainland and can be reached only by boat.
