Al- Mazyuna (Arabic المزيونة, DMG al - Mazyūna; sometimes Mazuynah Al or Al- Mazyouna ) is a village and a local government district ( wilaya ) in the province of Dhofar in the south of Oman.

Al- Mazyuna was formerly only a Niyaba (Arabic hamlet ). On 6 March 2006 it was raised by Royal Decree No. 13 /2006 on the Wilaya. Since 1999, the settlement hosts a free-trade zone to boost mainly trade with its southern neighbor Yemen.

Geography / Location / Access

The free trade zone is located approximately 4 km from the Yemen border ( international border crossing ) and 14 km from the village of Shahn (Yemen) away.

Attractions
