Al Shorta SC (Damascus)

Al Schorta is a sports team from Damascus in Syria. Currently plays the men's soccer team in the top league in the country, the Syrian professional league. Play their home games of the football team in the Abbasid Stadium. The great days of the men's football department are back for long. The last date and title dates from 1981, by winning the Syrian Cup. With third place was achieved in 1991 the last time the top of the league at the end of a season.
