Al Taliaferro

Charles Alfred Taliaferro ( born August 29, 1905 in Montrose, Colorado, † February 3, 1969 in Glendale, California ) was an American comic book artist. He drew from 16 September 1934, the first Donald Duck comic strips and gave Donald his final appearance. Al Taliaferro came 1931 Walt Disney Company. He inked, first at the side of Floyd Gottfredson, the early Mickey Mouse comics. As of April 1932, he drew the Sunday pages for the Silly Symphonies. From 1938 Taliaferro drew on texts by Bob Karp the Donald Duck comic strips and Sunday pages. Taliaferro led, among other Donalds three nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie and Donald's car 313 in the comics one.
