Al Wasl FC
Al- Wasl Club (Arabic نادي الوصل, DMG Nadi al - Wasl ) is a sports club based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was established in 1974. The football section of the club plays in the top league in the country, the Premier Division. Its home games carry the football players from the Zabeel Stadium.
The greatest success of the seven-time champion was the third place at the Asian Club Championship in season 1992 /93. National one last won in 2007, the league and cup double. In the 2000 /01 season was the former coach of Austria, Josef Hickersberger, coach of the men's soccer team.
From May 2011 to July 2012 the club was coached by Argentine football idol Diego Maradona.
