Ala Moana Center

The Ala Moana Center is the largest open-air shopping center in the world in the capital Honolulu in the U.S. state of Hawaii.

Built in 1959, the shopping center cost 25 million U.S. dollars and was on its completion until the opening of the Mall of America, the largest mall in the United States. The center has 290 shops and one of the largest food courts of the earth. Each year, the Ala Moana Center is visited by 42 million people.
