Alacranes Rojos

Club Deportivo Alacranes Rojos de Apatzingán (Spanish sports club Red Scorpions from Apatzingán ) is a former football club from the city, in the Mexican state of Michoacán city Apatzingán.

History

The Alacranes Rojos first played in the fourth division Tercera División. After winning this league in the summer tournament in 2002 ( second half of the 2001/02 season ), the team was relegated to the third-rate Segunda División, in which the " Alacranes " were represented in the following four seasons between 2002/ 03 and 2005/ 06, before they in the summer of 2006, retired from professional football.

His greatest athletic success recorded the club in the Apertura 2004 ( first half of the season 2004/ 05) by reaching the quarter-finals of the Segunda División. There have failed the " Alacranes " with 1:1 and 1:4 against the eventual champion Académicos.
