Alain Bashung

Alain Bashung ( born December 1, 1947 in Paris Alain Baschung, † March 14, 2009 ) was a French singer and actor.

Life

Alain Bashung was the son of a worker from the suburbs of Paris. His father was of Algerian origin; he has never known him. He grew up in a family of his stepfather in Alsace. At age five he discovered the music of Kurt Weill. After he returned to Paris in 1959, he came in the 1960s with rock music in touch. He published his first title since 1966, including Pourquoi Revez - vous des Etats- Unis or Les Romantiques. In the following years several plates appeared. Alain Bashung occurred during this period at the beginning of unsuccessful under the pseudonyms David Bergen and Hendrick intestines on. In 1973 he played and sang the role of Maximilien de Robespierre in Claude- Michel Schönberg's musical La Revolution Française.
