Alain Nef

Alain Nef ( born February 6, 1982 in Wädenswil, Switzerland ) is a Swiss football player who is under contract with FC Zurich since 2013.

Career

Nef began his professional career at FC Zurich, for the 2001 to 2006, he ran aground in numerous games and with the team in 2006 won the Swiss championship. Then he signed with Italian club Piacenza Calcio in Serie B a contract. Also in Piacenza, he secured a regular place at once and completed two seasons in the second highest Italian league. On 20 August 2008 Alain Nef was the 4-1 friendly win against Cyprus under Ottmar Hitzfeld his debut for the Swiss national football team, scoring the intermediate 3:1 for Switzerland.

In summer 2008, Nef joined the Serie A club Udinese Calcio, but was hired in early 2009 to the relegation-threatened Recreativo Huelva Spanish club, who played in the Spanish Primera División. The defender rose with Huelva after an unsuccessful season in the Segunda División Table from and was subsequently awarded by his hometown club Udinese Calcio in the Serie B club U.S. Triestina.

30 August 2010 Nef returned to his homeland and joined for one season on loan to the BSC Young Boys, with whom he started the third season in the summer of 2012. Beginning in July 2013 it was announced that Nef returns to his hometown club FC Zurich, where he signed a two-year contract with an option for another season.
