Alain Oreille

Alain Oreille ( born April 22, 1953 in Martigues ) is a French former rally driver.

Alain Oreille began his career in 1974 and drove until 1996 auto racing. Twice, in 1989 and 1990, he won the World Driver's Championship for Group N cars. In the 1990s he was the most with his wife Sylvie as a co-driver, drove factory driver at Renault in the French Rally Championship.

With his victory at the Rallye Côte d'Ivoire in 1989 - then a run to the World Rally Championship - Oreille wrote a small piece of motorsport history. He is still the only rally driver who (GT Turbo Renault 5 ) to win a world championship race with a Group N car.
