Alain Souchon

Alain Souchon ( born May 27, 1944 in Casablanca, Morocco; actually Alain Kienast ) is a French songwriter, singer and actor.

Influenced by Georges Brassens and Jacques Brel, but also by the British beat, Souchon was on stage since the late 1960s. His livelihood, he earned first in small Parisian clubs and cabarets. In 1971 he got his first record deal with the label Pathe -Marconi. From 1974, he worked with Laurent Voulzy and oriented more towards the Anglo-Saxon music. This collaboration brought him with the album J'ai 10 ans breakthrough. In 1975 he joined the first time, opening for Jean -Jacques Debout, the Paris Olympia. He is one of the most famous artist in France.

In addition, he has starred in seven films. He played his most famous role, directed by Jean Becker on the side of Isabelle Adjani as a mechanic Pin Pon in One Deadly Summer.
