Alain Sutter

Alain Sutter ( born January 22, 1968 in Bern ) is a former Swiss football player.

Career

Clubs

At 17, Sutter belonged to the squad of the Swiss first division club Grasshoppers Zurich where he was from 1985 to 1993 under contract for one season - on loan - for Young Boys Bern was active. After winning four national titles Sutter moved to the 1993/94 season to Germany for 1.FC Nürnberg. On August 6, 1993 ( 1st Round ) Sutter debuted in the Bundesliga, as the " Club" with 2:5 goals was inferior at Hamburger SV.
