Alain Tanner

Alain Tanner ( born December 6, 1929 in Geneva ) is a Swiss film director and screenwriter who was famous for visionary, sensitive films such as Jonas qui aura 25 ans en l' an 2000, a flame in my heart and Messidor.

Life

Alain Tanner studied economics at the University of Geneva. In 1951 he directed the film club of the university, to the now well -known film director Claude Goretta had founded. After his graduation and a short activeness for international shipping companies, he moved to filmmaking.
