Alan Gorrie

Alan Gorrie ( born July 19, 1946 in Perth, Scotland ) is a British soul musician, best known as a singer and bassist of the Average White Band. Since 1971 he is one of the founding members of the AWB, before he played with his future colleagues Onnie McIntyre of the Average White Band in the band Forevermore, where he remained until the separation in 1982. He was also in 1989 at the reunion of the band of the party. In addition to his main instrument Gorrie also plays bass guitar and keyboard.
