Albana di Romagna

Albana di Romagna is an Italian white wine that is made from 100% of Albana. The wine is grown and produced in a large area between the cities of Imola and Savignano sul Rubicon in the Emilia-Romagna region, which includes the provinces of Bologna, Forlì and Ravenna. Approved vineyards are located in the municipalities of Borgo Tossignano, Casalfiumanese, Castel San Pietro Terme, Dozza, Fontanelice, Forli e Terra del Sole, Longiano, Meldola, Montiano, Roncofreddo, Brisighella, Casola Valsenio and Riolo Terme and in some areas of the municipalities Imola, Ozzano dell'Emilia, Cesena, Forlì, Forlimpopoli, Savignano sul Rubicon, Castel Bolognese et Faenza.

The white wine is in the following flavors: secco (dry), Amabile ( sweet), dolce (sweet) and expanded passito (sweet on the basis of dried grapes ). All of these wines have the status of a DOCG since 1987. Albana di Romagna passito
