Albany is a municipality ( with a status of "Village" ) in Green County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, Albany had 1018 inhabitants.

Geography

Albany is located in south central Wisconsin, 25.9 km north of the border to Illinois. The city is located on both sides of the Sugar River, which belongs on the Pecatonica River and the Rock River to the basin of the Mississippi. Located on the Mississippi intersection of the three states of Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois situated 114 km west-southwest.
