Albaro
Albaro is an elegant residential area in the Italian port city of Genoa. The territory of the district is the 1873 Genoa affiliated municipality of San Francesco d' Albaro.
Until the 18th century Albaro was the classic resort of wealthy Genoese, who spent the summer here. With the inclusion in the Ligurian capital, the district underwent profound structural changes that made it one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the Greater Genoa the fascists.
Albaro belongs to Munizip VIII Medio Levante. Districts of the neighborhood itself are Albaro, Lido, San Giuliano and Puggia, which together reach a population of 30,163.
