Alberstedt is a district of the municipality Farnstädt in the hall district, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).

Alberstedt between Halle ( Saale) and Erfurt.

History

In a resulting 881-899 Directory of tithing of Hersfeld Monastery ( Hersfeld tithe directory ) is mentioned as requiring a tenth place in the frieze Alberestat field Alberstedt.

Alber Städt was an earlier spelling of the place name. Since 1816 the place was in the Mansfeld Seekreis the Prussian province of Saxony. 1822 lived 352 inhabitants in 63 houses that were under the Prince Lichen Patrimonialgerichts the Office Schraplau until 1848. At that time included 21 acres of gardens, 97 hooves, 28 5/8 acres of farmland and 58 cables to Alberstedt.

From 2005 to 2009 Alberstedt belonged to the administrative community Weida -Land. Until the incorporation by Farnstädt on 1 January 2010 Alberstedt was an independent municipality. Last mayor Alberstedts was Rudolf Bernhardt.

Since December 2008 Alberstedt is accessible via the South Harz motorway A 38 Leipzig -Göttingen, from the west via exit Rothenschirmbach and from the east via exit cross- ford. West Alberstedts runs the federal highway 180 from Hettstedt to Naumburg (Saale ).
