Albert Arnheiter

Albert Arnheiter ( born July 20, 1890 in Ludwigshafen, † April 26, 1945 in Italy ) was a German rower, the 1912 Olympic champion in the four with coxswain.

Arnheiter occupied at the German Championship in 1909 with the aft of the Ludwigshafen Rowing Club took second place behind the aft of the Mainz Rowing Club. 1910 rowed Arnheiter at the German Championship with the Ludwigshafen coxless four to third place. 1912 occupied Arnheiter, Rudolf Fickeisen, Hermann Wilker and Otto Fickeisen second place behind a foursome from Mainz.

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 Arnheiter, Wilker, the brothers competed Fickeisen and helmsman Otto Maier in the four with coxswain. They defeated in the first race the only boat of the Swedish hosts, had no opponent in the quarterfinals and beat in the semifinals of the Danish boat. In the semifinals of the German foursome had undercut the seven- minute mark, which also succeeded in the final against the British and was sufficient to victory.
