Albert H. Crews

Albert Hanlin Crews ( born March 23, 1929 in El Dorado (Arkansas ) ) is a retired colonel in the United States Air Force and a former USAF astronaut who graduated but no space flight.

Crews received in 1950 a Bachelor of Science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Chemical Engineering and in 1959 a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Air Force Institute of Technology. He was selected on April 20, 1962 in the second group of Dyna- Soar astronaut and in the same year on September 20 Dyna- Soar as a pilot. In 1963, the Dyna- Soar project was completed and on November 12, 1965 Crews for the first group of astronauts of the Manned Orbiting Laboratory ( MOL) has been selected.
