Albert Kriemler

Albert Kriemler is an award-winning designer and creative director at the Swiss fashion label Akris.

Biography

Following his school education Albert Kriemler began in 1980 at Akris. and together with his brother, Peter, co-owner and creative director of the house Akris since 1987. Since 2004, the Akris collection will be presented at the Paris Fashion Week. In addition to the creation of his clothing collection Kriemler created the costumes for the ensemble of the Vienna Philharmonic 2005/ 06 and for the staging of the Hamburg Ballet of " Joseph's Legend " by Richard Strauss in 2008. 2009 brought Kriemler out the first handbag collection from horse hair.

Awards

Albert Kriemler was in 2008 with the Grand Prix design of the Federal Office of Culture ( Switzerland ) for his achievements as the most important international ambassador for fashion creations. In 2009 Kriemler received the Honorary Award Merit for his lifetime achievement in 2010 and the star award for fashion design at the Fashion Group International Awards in New York.
