Albert Pujols José ( born January 16, 1980 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) is a baseball player in Major League Baseball. He plays on the first base for the team the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the American League.

Pujols was in April 2001 with the St. Louis Cardinals his debut in the MLB and immediately became one of the best hitters, which earned him the award for Rookie of the Year in the National League. He even made it to the Most Valuable Player of choice (best player of the season ) in the top five.
