Albert Ramos Viñolas ( born January 17, 1988 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish tennis player.

Life and career

2004-2008: First experience as a junior and at Future tournaments

Albert Ramos competed in the 2005 and 2006 international junior tournaments. He was able to win more titles and reached a top 10 ranking in the junior world rankings. In 2004 he was also able to collect on Satellite and Futures tournaments first points for the men's world rankings. After he had reached his first Futures final in June 2006, it was first performed in the Top 1000. In 2008, he finally won his first Futures title.

2009-2010: Success on the ATP Challenger Tour and debut

In early 2009 was followed by three other Future titles for Albert Ramos. 2011: Grand Slam debut and entry into the Top 100

In January 2011, Albert Ramos was the first time directly qualified for an ATP tournament because of its world ranking in Santiago. At a first round win over Leonardo Mayer was followed by a defeat to eventual semi-finalists Fabio Fognini. Also at the ATP tournament in Buenos Aires two weeks later, he reached the second round as a qualifier when he first defeated João Souza, before he retired against Tommy Robredo. The year 2012 began for Albert Ramos at the ATP tournament in Doha, where he was eliminated in the quarterfinals to eventual tournament winner Jo -Wilfried Tsonga. In the 2013 season he made his debut for the Spanish Davis Cup team. Against Canada Milos Raonic was defeated and defeated Frank Dancevic.
