Albert von Stein

Albert von Stein ( † April 27, 1522 in Bicocca, Lombardy ) was a Swiss mercenary leader during the Italian Wars.

Life

Stone fought in the Battle of Novara. He was able to unite in 1522 before the Battle of Marignano all Swiss troops under one command. Under the leadership of Marshal of France Odet de Foix became stone for the new leader of the Swiss squad leader. His field recorder here was the later writers Nicholas Manuel.

During the Battle of Bicocca Albert was killed by stone on April 27, 1522.
