Albertacce
Albertacce is a commune with 219 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Haute- Corse on the island of Corsica. It belongs administratively to the arrondissement and canton Corte Niolu - Omessa.
Geography
The village is located around 27 km ( straight line ) north-east of Porto and 15 kilometers west of Corte in the Regional Natural Park of Corsica. The neighboring municipalities are Lozzi in the north, Calacuccia in the northeast, Casamaccioli the east and southeast, Letia in the south, Cristinacce the southwest, Evisa in the west and Manso and Asco in the northwest.
In common municipality springs from the river Golo, which flows at the border with Calacuccia in the Lac de Calacuccia.
Transport links
The village center is traffic- department of the road D84, called Popaja, provided that the Golo follows in a southwesterly direction upstream and leads over the Col de Vergio to Porto. In the opposite direction the national road N193 is achieved at the place Francardo that enables a high-level secondary connection to Bastia or Ajaccio. In parallel, also passes a railway line.
