Alberto Angela ( born April 8, 1962 in Paris ) is an Italian paleontologist, science journalist and nonfiction author.

Alberto Angela graduated in France, the baccalauréat. He studied phylogeny of man at Harvard University, Business and Economics at Columbia University and psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. At the University La Sapienza in Rome, he obtained a scientific degree and is a research author and presenter of Italian science program Ulisse - Il piacere della scoperta on Rai Tre known.
