Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Rodríguez ( born May 25, 1977 in San Luis Potosí ), better known by his ring name Alberto Del Rio, is a Mexican professional wrestler. He is currently under contract with WWE and appears regularly in their wrestling shows.

Career

In 2000, Rodríguez made ​​his debut in Asistencia Asesoría y Administración in Mexico. Until the 2005 stations followed at Independent leagues in Mexico and Japan.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre

As of 2005, Rodríguez appeared regularly at Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. He played several matches for the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Title, but was not allowed to win it. On July 8, 2007 Rodríguez the CMLL World Heavyweight Title was able to win. This title he lost in December 2008.

WWE

Rodríguez finished fifth in 1997 and 1998 to sixth place in the Pan American Games in Greco-Roman style in the light heavyweight division.
