Alberto Grimaldi

Alberto Grimaldi ( born March 28, 1925 in Naples, Campania ) is an Italian film producer.

Life

Grimaldi, who was a lawyer from home, began in the 1960s with the production of feature films. Through the production of numerous classic spaghetti westerns and audience -prone, but also controversial films by directors such as Sergio Leone, Bernardo Bertolucci, Federico Fellini and Pier Paolo Pasolini Grimaldi enabled the Italian film of the 1960s and 1970s worldwide attention. These movies were awarded by the film company United Artists. The only exception is Ginger and Fred, who was awarded by United Artists parent company Metro -Goldwyn -Mayer in the United States.

2002 Grimaldi was involved in the Martin Scorsese film Gangs of New York as a producer.
