Alberto Oreamuno Flores

Alberto Oreamuno Flores ( * 1905 in Cartago, † 1980) was a Costa Rican professor of medicine and politician.

Life

His parents were Adelfia Flores and Nicolás Oreamuno Ortiz, Minister of State and President of the Supreme Court of Central America and Supreme Court of Costa Rica. His brother was José Rafael Oreamuno Flores, Ambassador of Costa Rica in the United States. Alberto Flores Oreamuno married Elizabeth Robinson.

Oreamuno Flores studied in the Republic of Honduras, Costa Rica and in Pennsylvania in the United States. In 1929, he was stopped in Frankford Hospital in Pennsylvania as a doctor.

In 1930 he returned to Costa Rica and worked as a doctor in the United Fruit Company, was appointed deputy head of the hospital in Puerto Limón and worked in the hospital Piera in Tegucigalpa. He returned to San Jose and became a doctor at the Hospital de San Juan de Dios. He was elected to the City Council of Puerto Limón and later deputy.

Alberto Flores Oreamuno was deputy president Luis Rafael de la Trinidad Otilio Ulate Blanco. As such, he was Executive President.
