Albertus Pictor
Albertus Pictor (* 1440 in Immenhausen; † ca 1509 ) was a Swedish painter.
Albertus Pictor was born around 1440 in the Hessian town Immenhausen. In 1465 he was mentioned as a resident of Arboga in Sweden for the first time in a document. 1473 Albertus married the widow of the painter Johan malar and went to Stockholm. In the following years Albertus Pictor created murals in around 30 churches; so that it was the church painter with the most extensive work in medieval Sweden.
